Belknap is born in Damariscotta Maine. Her parents are David Belknap as well as Louise Belknap. She was a student at Lincoln Academy in Newcastle Maine. In a joint PEOPLE statement Skylar Astin and Camp confirmed that their separation was amicable and mutual.
