Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira born May 26th, 1978 Campinas Sao Paulo Brazil. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997) are the most well-known films. Ana Paula Oliveira has been an integral part of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime since the month of March in 2020. She is the manager of the Assassination Witness and is part of the GI-TOC's Multilateral Engagement team. In her work with GI TOC she is focused on assassinations - including disappearances - and violence of other forms in relation to illegal economies. Her interests in research also focus on the effects of organized crime on human rights and humanitarian rights as well as the laws and policies. Ana Paula received an LL.M.cum laude degree in International Law, from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. Additionally, she holds an LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations by Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula holds a Bachelor degree magna cum laude in Legal as well as Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is a lawyer with a license and has worked in the law firm that focused on public law litigation for over four years. In the past, she has also worked in non-governmental organisations with their headquarters in Rio de Janeiro.
